“Levante” Dairy Farm belongs to Roberto and Paolo Romani. Located north of river Po, in the middle of the quiet Padana Plane, ten minutes from Mantua and close to an ancient roman town called Borgoforte. A family owned business, it was started in 1960 by father Francesco and gradually grew to become a 300 hectars farm.
The best varieties of medical grass are grown on the pastures to become the best hay for the cows. Corn and soy are produced entirely on the farm land and become the daily organic fed for 1500 cows and over 500 selected calves in the stables.

The highly selected breeds of the animals and the top breeding systems used on the farm guarantee the quality and health of the milk and the dairy products obtained from it. Cheese is produced according to old traditional techniques which have become an art in this area of the country and make this kind of cheese a unique product.

The whole production cycle happens inside the farm and is checked and inspected on regular basis. Everything except inspection happens internally, with no external interference, in perfect balance and respect for the animals - from producer to consumer.
